The Adamant is a unique day center: it is a floating building. It was built on the Seine in the heart of Paris and takes in adults with mental disorders. It offers them a treatment environment that provides them with structure in terms of time and space, helps them reconnect with the world, and gives them new momentum. The team that runs it is among those who are trying to resist the decline and dehumanization of psychiatry as best they can. This film invites us to come aboard to meet the patients and caregivers who are reinventing everyday life day after day.
